Our partnership with Bank of America began in 1996 with an initial investment that helped establish Take Stock in Children as Florida's largest Mentor/Scholarship program. In addition, Bank of America employees across the state make multi-year commitments to actively mentor Take Stock in Children students. Bank of America continues to be an avid partner of Take Stock in Children with their financial contributions and their continuing commitment to support low-income, at-risk children and their efforts to attain post-secondary education. In 2009, Take Stock in Children recognized Bank of America's contributions by awarding them a Platinum Founder status. “Putting our Youth on the Road to Success!”



Arlington Toyota, a family owned and operated dealership serving Jacksonville, FL recently announced its plans to partner with Take Stock in Children in Jacksonville. The Jacksonville-based company is a family owned and operated business that has been a landmark in Jacksonville community for over 32 years. The company and its owners’ commitment to customer satisfaction has earned it numerous awards from Toyota throughout its 32 year history. It is this same dedication and commitment is further demonstrated in the company’s deep rooted commitment to giving back to the communities in which its employees and customers live and work. Arlington Toyota has been an ardent supporter and major contributor to numerous deserving non-profit organizations over the years including the American Heart Association, Breast Cancer Research and Awareness, and many more.

On Friday, October 22nd, Arlington Toyota and Take Stock in Children will celebrate their partnership at the dealership from 4 to 6pm. Several radio stations will be on hand for the launch and will be announcing the partnership during their live remote broadcast including the airing of public service anniouncements for Take Stock in Children encouraging listeners to make a difference and sign up to mentor a deserving student. “At Arlington Toyota we are committed to making a difference in the communities we serve", said Rick Doran, General Manager. "We believe that providing mentors, resources and support, we can help Take Stock in Children continue to break the cycle of poverty by addressing the high school drop-out crisis and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to achieve the American dream of a college education," he concluded. The partnership will afford Take Stock in Children with the opportunity to create increased awareness for the program through advertising opportunities, promotional materials, and a series of special orientation and mentor training meetings for employees.
